Snowman and his dog!

In the month of March 2018, 1st day of the month to be precise, we have had weather like no other weather for years in Devon, in fact in the whole country. The last time we have had this bad was in 2010 when I tried to go to work and had to turn back but this time I managed to get to work. Driving home from work was very scary though as it took forever to get home.

Here are some pictures from our region of the world.

Snowman and his dog visited our garden for a day and left the following morning. We had great fun taking pictures of them as they were super cool.

This is the Phear Park in Exmouth. When I took this picture there were not many people and shortly after that, they came with their snowboard, Sledge, and whatever they can use for sliding down the hill.

This is the Marpool hill in Exmouth. You have to be brave to drive on this road when it is very slippery. I was glad I wasn’t driving.

This was the view from our window on Friday morning.

Cars were frozen solid like glue has been poured over it. There was no way anyone could drive. Aside from few four-wheel cars, I didn’t see any cars on the road.

By Saturday morning it had started to thaw and most of the roads were cleared where we are and back to normality. Sadly many of the remote villages are still cut out with heavy snowdrift and may take several days to clear the road.
